Dreams are powerful, sometimes.
Dreams
What is it with some dreams? What if some are real visits, as maybe that is the only time they can get past our ceaseless mental chatter. For me those visits are vivid; never forgotten. I have had only a handful.. but the one that prompted the book was a doozy.
Some dreams fade before breakfast. But have you ever had a dream about a parent or grandparent that feels more like a visit? One so vivid that its memory never fades? In my case, a dream became the catalyst for a series of
wonder-filled journeys to my ancestral farm in Ireland. It led me deep into my family history and ultimately to writing The Ground Between Us: Land Hunger Healing. Looking back, the dream was an invitation.
Has a dream, memory, or family story ever changed the way you see your own history? Or the way you see yourself? Tell me your story.
